About The Grant Edit

Real grant experience. Practical support. No guesswork.

Hi, I'm Chineze, the founder of The Grant Edit.

I help organizations focus on the grants that are actually worth pursuing, with a clear strategy, and without wasting time on the ones that were never a fit.

Over the years, I found myself consistently helping friends and colleagues make sense of grants, figuring out what they qualified for, reviewing applications, and breaking down complex requirements. What felt intuitive to me was often overwhelming for others. That gap is exactly what The Grant Edit was built to address.

I've spent over a decade working inside the grant world, supporting applications, breaking down complex requirements, and managing funding programs from end to end. That experience helps me quickly see what’s worth pursuing, what’s competitive, and what’s not the right fit.

I bring experience from roles at McMaster University, Queen's University, and the British Council. I hold an MBA, a PMP designation, and a certificate in Non-Profit Management and Grant Writing, bringing both real-world experience and formal training to my work.

My goal is simple: to help you make smart, confident decisions about where to invest your time and effort.

What this means for you:
  • Clarity on what you are eligible for

  • Focus on what is worth your time

  • Confidence before your apply

Whether you're just starting to explore grants or ready to take your next step, our goal is the same — to help you make informed, strategic decisions before investing your time and energy into an application
